Tuesday 24 NovemberDes to Headling Glasgow Comedy Festival Opening ShowSince the 2 shows at the Pavilion in March are no longer going ahead (remember and get your refund from the theatre Box Office if you bought tickets!) Des has accepted an amazing offer. Not only is he going to be one of the main headline acts for this year's Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival - he has been given the honour of being the opening headline act for the first major show of the festival! How cool is that? And, what's more, he has been given the biggest and best venue in Glasgow to do it in - The Clyde Auditorium at the SECC - (that's the Armadillo to you and me!) Tickets are on sale now and they are going to go like crazy so if you want to attend the comedy event of the year, click on the 'Info' button and go straight to the box office. When they're gone..they're gone! Don't say we didn't warn you!

Tuesday 17 NovemberPavilion Theatre Urgent NewsWe have just heard that the Management of the Pavilion Theatre has taken the Des McLean shows for 19th and 21st March 2010 off sale. In an email to us they said that they would contact everyone who had already bought tickets for the shows to arrange refunds. If you are affected by this then please contact the theatre directly for more information on 0141 332 1846. Please note that Des has no control over this whatsoever but he has asked us to apologise to each and every one of his fans for the inconvenience. There is a very exciting announcement being made on Thursday 19th March 2009 about a replacement venue for Des's Magners Glasgow Comedy Festival show for 2010. Please come back for regular updates. We sincerely hope we can still rely on your support when details of the new show are revealed. |

Tuesday 03 NovemberExtra Tour Date Added - Des at the o2 Academy - Friday 13th November 2009Due to the incredible demand for tickets for the Autumn Tour which was a total sell out, we have added an extra date for you. Des will be appearing at the o2 Academy in Eglinton Street, Glasgow on Friday 13th November 2009. Doors open at 19:00 and Des will be on stage at 20:10. Please remember that it is strictly over 18's only. This will be your last chance to see Radio Clyde's Funnyman live in stand-up until March 2010. Tickets will go very quickly so make sure you book early. |
